This is a genuine pearl and silver brooch from Japan that is full of beautiful detail.  12 pearls opulently drape over the edge of a silver basket surrounded by pierced silver openwork grape leaves.  The tendrils of the grapes twirl around the handle of the basket falling gracefully.  The rim of the basket is made of twisted rope which also encircles the bottom of the basket.  It is marked on the back with "Silver" and an overlapping "OG" mark.   A stunningly crafted vintage piece, it measures 1 7/8" wide by 1 1/2" tall.
