This is a stunning ruby and clear rhinestone set marked by the 1940's Retro style.  The brooch is a swirling ribbon shape of 12 karat gold filled marked on the back "1/20 12K GF".  Most stones on the brooch are prong set and riveted except for the pistil-like prongs inside the bow which are glued into cups.  A matching spray of rubies in the screw back earrings have an atomic design feel but are dainty at only 5/8" radius.  The brooch measures 2 1/4" wide by 1 1/5" long.  This would make a great gift for Christmas or Valentine's Day.
