Creative and fun, these silver earrings show a cut-out pegasus winged horse on a hat.  The cut-outs show the oxidized silver inside the 3-D silver "hat".  The hat swings from a silver bead on a screw-back earring that is marked "Hecho en Mexico, Sterling 925, DF" and also the initials RHK or RKK.  According to these markings, these earrings pre-date 1948 and were made in "DF" or Distrito Federal, the Federal District of Mexico City.  Similar jewelry has been dated circa 1930's.  They are 1 1/2" long as measured from the round drop and 1 1/2" wide.
