Boucher dahlia pin
This is a beautiful and well made flower signed "© Boucher Dahlia 9208". There is a symbol
after the number which I cannot decipher. The pin is made of a carved material that looks like ivory, but upon close
inspection, I cannot verify that it is elephant or mamal ivory though it may be a form of vegetable ivory. In any case,
it is carved with great skill shown in the petals and has a soft ivory coloring. Boucher is well known to have produced
the highest quality in costume jewelry and this pin is no exception. The stem and center are gold plated with a shiney
finish on the front and textured finish on the back. In excellent condition, it measures 2 1/8" long with a flower diameter
of 1 1/8".
