This cameo is carved from shell in a round shape and mounted in a silver plated copper setting.  Circa 1940 from the Victorian Revival era, the lady is carved in the Victorian style with a 19th century hairstyle.  The cameo is set in a wound filigree setting that adds to it's antique appearance.  The cameo itself is 3/4" in diameter and the setting measures 1 1/4" long.  It hangs on a 16" replacement sterling silver chain.
