This beautiful solid opal vintage opal ring is set in 10 karat gold.  The stone is a beautiful oval cabachon that measures 10mm wide by 12mm tall.  The overall look of the stone is white with beautiful green and pink inclusions that look irridescent in both natural sunlight and indoor incandescent lighting.  The ring is from an estate and is estimated to be from the 1950s in vintage.  The bezel setting has a nice raised platform and the shoulder is sleek and classy with two round gold embellishments to the open-work shoulder.  The inside of the band is marked only "10 K" and there is a chip to the flat underside of the stone that is not visible when worn.  The outside of the stone is in excellent condition.  The total weight is 2 grams and is a size 7.  The photographs have been taken in a darker setting to bring out the fire in this natural opal stone.
