This pretty pendant has a 9 carat gold flower with nicely detailed petals resting on an openwork
gold background. In the center is one prong set garnet that is 5mm (3/16") in diameter. The pendant hangs from
a pretty elongated bail strung on to an 18" gold chain that is marked "9 ct". Although it's vintage is unknown, the
styling is Victorian but the workmanship resembles the Victorian revival jewelry that was popular in the 1960s. It is
in excellent condition. This would make a wonderful Valentine gift. Garnet is also the birthstone for Capricorn
or January birthdays.
