A great accessory, this vintage purse is from the 1920s period and features silver plated mesh that hangs from an engraved cast metal frame.  The frame is engraved with a lovely foliage design and snaps shut with a twisted knob blue glass cabochon closure.  There is a paper clip type chain handle and 1" of chain fringe at the bottom of the bag of which a few are missing.  There is some wear to the plating on one side of the bag and also on the chain strap.  The rest of the bag is in good condition.  The mesh portion of the bag measures 2 1/2" across and 5" long not including the fringe.  The feel of these old purses is fluid and very luxurious.
