Antique First Communion Pendant
This pendant is a sweet antique commemorating a young hispanic girl's first communion of
long ago. A gold chalice is centered on an oval silver frame with the host pictured above the chalice. Pretty
openwork graces the edges of the oval. On the reverse side there is an inscription that reads "Julia Pombo Octubre 9
del 1904" Spanish for the little girl Julia Pombo who must have received the gift upon her first communion in October of 1904.
The silver is not sterling but a lower grade such as 800 silver. It comes with an 16" sterling silver replacement chain.
The pendant itself measures 1" long by 3/4" wide.
