Carved Cinnabar Bead Necklace
Wonderful genuine Chinese carved cinnabar necklace dates from the 1940s. Beautiful beads
are hand carved, strung on a silk chord and hand knotted between each bead. The color is a deep rich red that has an
earthy tone much like brick red. The clasp is gold vermeil, or gold over silver and is marked "Silver" on
the clasp. The clasp is a mesh wire silver with filigree decoration and closes securely with a snap. The beads
are all 13.5 to 14 mm in diameter and the length is 24 inches or matinee length.
