Necklaces - Pearl and Glass Bead Choker - SOLD!
This is an stunning older vintage choker necklace circa 1940s to 50s that is made of four
strands of beads with silver-tone and rhinestone decorative spacers. The beads are alternating clear faceted glass and
faux freshwater pearls. There are three spacers made of antique silver-tone nouveau style leaves encrusted with rhinestones
that are all prong set and in very good condition. One of the decorative spacers conseals the fold-over clasp closure
and is shown in a picture below. The rhinestones retain their sparkle and the drape of the beads is elegant. One
stone has dimmed and some of the pearls' surfaces near the back of the necklace have worn spots so the price has been reduced
because of these condition issues. Yet the overall effect of the necklace still makes this a very special piece.
The tightest strand of beads measures 14".
