Two Sided Sterling Guilloché Enamel Virgin Mary Locket
Sweet heart-shaped locket
from the 1950s has a painted enamel rose on one side with beaded sterling trim. The opposite side has a sterling open
work heart with a Virgin Mary medal inside. The locket is a swivel type locket that does not allow pictures inside.
Rather the Virgin Mary is the foreground to a light blue sunburst pattern accented by pale blue guilloché enamel that
can be seen through the open heart. This dainty pendant locket is marked “Sterling” on the back of the medal,
measures 9/16' long by 5/8” wide and hangs from a 16” sterling silver replacement chain.
