Accessories - Cracker Barrel Mirror Comb Set from Denmark-SOLD!
This is a very pretty repoussé silver plated hand mirror and comb set in a small
size to fit in your purse. There is a scene of country folk gathered outdoors which has been refered to as the Cracker
Barrel scene that includes a fiddle player, people looking over a barrel and a pet dog. It is marked "Denmark"
with the symbol of a fish or whale is below it. The handle on the mirror is very pretty with ornate scrollwork.
There is one faint scratch on the beveled mirror that does not detract. The comb has a wonderful patina on the case
and is in great condition with no missing teeth. Circa the 1950s, it has been made to look like objects from
the Victorian era when personal belongings such as a comb and thimble hung from the belt on a silver chatelaine.
The comb is 5" long and 1 1/4" wide and the mirror measures 4 3/8" from top to bottom with a mirror 2 5/8"
in diameter. SORRY. THIS ITEM HAS ALREADY BEEN SOLD!
